Since 1985, The Magnolia School has given children and young people a safe place to learn and grow. We have not wavered in our commitment to multi-age classrooms, low student-teacher ratios, a small size, integrated and active curriculums, and developmental student evaluations and portfolios. As a result, today’s students remain happy, busy, creative, and engaged.

 

As many of you know, nearly 80% of the tuition paid by our current students goes directly to paying the modest salaries of our wonderful teachers. Last year, donations from individuals helped us raise matching funds for a Bealls grant that allowed us to purchase a new (to us) bus, which was key to continuing to provide students with transportation to field trips and community activities that are so much a part of The Magnolia School experience.

 

This year, we plan to focus on raising money to increase the amount of reduced-tuition scholarships available to qualified new and returning families.
