Since 1985, The Magnolia School has given children and young people a safe place to learn and grow. We remain committed to our founding principles: multi-age classrooms, low student-teacher ratio, small size, integrated and active curriculum, and developmental student evaluations and portfolios — principles that have inspired and influenced other schools in the area. It is not easy, but we know it works because we have seen it work for a quarter century.

Nearly 80 percent of the tuition paid by our students goes directly to paying the modest salaries of our wonderful teachers; what is left is not sufficient to cover the costs of capital improvements for our school buildings, which are showing their age. For example, the air-conditioning unit in the middle school is in dire need of replacement. Your tax-deductible donation would help maintain and protect the school itself, making a new air conditioner possible and bring new life (and cooler air!) to the school for current and future generations of students.
